Shop Squash Blossoms

Authentic Squash Blossoms feature a centered upside down crescent (naja). The Naja is accented by large flowering silver beads (squash blossoms). Reputedly, the Navajo began creating Squash Blossoms in the late 1800's.  Followed by the Hopi and Zuni adopting the design soon after.  Squash Blossoms are created by hand ~ hammered sterling silver, without melting or casting.  The squash blossom is said to be magical ~ you can feel the silver smithing in each necklace.
